Challenge and commemorative coins have been given out since the first World War.  The practice of carrying a coin designed specifically for a unit, was popular with the Army Special Forces.  Carrying the coin at all times and presenting when “challenged” to prove affiliation with that unit resulted in a number of consequences for those who could not produce a coin.   All of our coins are custom made to order, custom sizes and shapes if requested.  We manufacture and offer using several different base materials to meet our customers needs and price points.  Coins can be created in 2 or 3 dimensional designs, color filled using soft or hard enamel, rope, reeded or diamond cut edges and finished in gold, silver, copper or antique finishes.
